Thank you for visiting my website. I am presently employed as the Assistant Librarian at the Green Tree Public Library in Pittsburgh, PA. I completed my MLIS at the University of Pittsburgh in 2009. In 2005, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ohio Wesleyan University with a BA in Literature and a minor in History. My other academic achievements include receiving the Jay Daily award from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009. This award recognizes a graduate student who makes an "outstanding contribution" to the LIS program.
My past jobs in libraries have included working as a reference assistant, a circulation assistant and a computer center assistant. Outside of libraries, I have tutored and taught students (K-12) in several public school systems, taught ESL classes at a handful of non-profit organizations and served as a volunteer with AmeriCorps.
